Expansify™ 24-Well Plate

The Expansify™ 24-Well Plate enables 10 to 100 times higher cell yields per well than conventional polystyrene cultureware. A single stackable plate can replace up to 24 T-75 flasks, reducing incubator footprint, consumable usage, labor, and process variability while delivering reproducible, high-density cell growth. 

The platform supports a broad range of applications including T cell expansion, stem cell culture, viral vector production, biologics production, process development, and general cell expansion for biomedical research. Expansify™ provides a common production environment for primary and immortalized cells, whether adherent or suspension, and is compatible with extracellular matrix coatings including vitronectin, fibronectin, and laminins. 

At the core of every plate is XDemics’ proprietary High-Density Cell Respiration (HDCR™) architecture. Inspired by the capillary proximity found in living tissues, HDCR™ combines a precisely engineered culture geometry with a medical-grade oxygen-permeable growth surface that delivers oxygen directly to cells across the entire culture area. By overcoming the oxygen diffusion limitations of conventional cultureware, Expansify™ supports natural tissue-level cell densities while eliminating the need for agitation, sparging, or other shear-inducing oxygenation methods. 

Each well incorporates SureShelves™, a set of precision-engineered features standard across the Expansify™ product family. SureShelves provide stable rests for pipette tips, serological pipettes, and Pasteur pipettes, while integrated volume graduations enable rapid and accurate media addition and aspiration. Cells can be imaged directly in the plate using standard laboratory microscopes without transfer or manipulation. 

The Expansify™ 24-Well Plate is manufactured in a standard ANSI/SLAS footprint, making it compatible with automated liquid handlers, imaging systems, and plate-based instrumentation. The platform also preserves the same HDCR™ cellular microenvironment used throughout the Expansify™ product family, enabling straightforward scale-up from research through production. 

Each plate includes an HDCR™ insert, polystyrene base plate, and polystyrene lid. Available in packs of 1 and 10.
